Requirements
Must:
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited postsecondary program majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering.
- Minimum of one year of coursework in programming using high-level languages such as Python or C#.
- Minimum of one year of coursework in full stack development, covering front-end and back-end components along with documentation.
- A strong motivation to pursue certification in at least one AWS Technical Certification, such as AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, or equivalent certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and reengineering of web applications leveraging AWS services.
- Collaborate with development teams to create scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.
- Engage in peer development activities, including discussions on merge requests and code reviews.
- Contribute to the creation of Technical Description Documents (TDD) and System Design Documents (SDD).
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and document features using a Git management tool like JIRA.
- Participate in developing reusable patterns using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Gain hands-on experience with front-end technologies and back-end programming within the AWS environment.
- Support the gathering of requirements and assist in converting them into technical specifications utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence.
