Reliability Engineer - Automation & Testing

- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Engineer, and Purchasing to ensure spare parts and critical equipment repair parts are well-stocked - Assess and analyze equipment to develop reliability-centered maintenance initiatives - Partner with Planner and Purchasing to establish and uphold an effective Bill of Materials (BOM) process - Investigate plant issues by determining root causes of equipment failures - Compile data to present conclusions on root cause failures - Execute corrective and preventive measures to enhance reliability - Gather, analyze, and manage data to reduce failures and boost performance using failure analysis techniques - Set up and oversee plant vibration, lubrication, and oil analysis programs for all systems - Create and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and documentation for all equipment - Adjust and maintain plant engineering systems and documentation as needed - Oversee projects including safety management, scope development, budgeting, and coordination with internal and external resources - Contribute to departmental budget formulation, maintenance reporting, and capital expenditure requests - Motivate and engage employees at all levels to develop innovative strategies for continuous improvement and increased reliability - Cultivate a culture of reliability and provide training to support safety and equipment efficiency - Supervise the daily tasks of dust collection and lube hourly union staff - Coordinate training sessions with vendors and equipment suppliers for plant equipment - Assist in implementing a culture change within the maintenance department.
