Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in creating infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading using both AWS-specific and general relational database technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and refining data sets, pipelines, and architectures.
- Experienced in the design, development, and support of data warehouse star schema models and applications.
- Proficient in utilizing database/query languages to store, manipulate, and retrieve data (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Aurora).
- Solid programming skills in modern languages (e.g., Python).
- Equivalent to a bachelors degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis, and an advanced degree may substitute for experience similarly.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders and data users to gather requirements and design effective data solutions.
- Design, implement, and support data models, applications, and programs that deliver valuable business intelligence functionalities to the campus community.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and scripts to ensure optimal integration of data with the campus computing infrastructure.
- Utilize current technologies and follow DevOps methodologies in ongoing maintenance and enhancement efforts.
- Document all data engineering processes and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Test and validate data warehousing solutions to ensure they meet user requirements and standards.
