Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Exceptional skills in application architecture and software development
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication abilities
- Experience using Microsoft Visio or similar data/application visualization tools
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for software requirements documentation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Proven experience coordinating software requirements with development teams
- Ability to plan and execute complex custom web applications and process enhancements
- Experience in application architecture from conception to deployment
- Knowledge in Business Process Management administration and architecture
- Proficiency in Visio and Moqups for documenting application architectures
Responsibilities
- Apply application architecture concepts to assist teams in developing specific functional area requirements
- Coordinate activities to prevent duplication of efforts and ensure alignment with WMATAs Enterprise Architecture Framework and IT strategy
- Create current and future state application architecture artifacts, including system connection diagrams and software requirements documentation
- Collaborate with data and infrastructure architects/engineers and software project managers to maintain application system integrity
- Oversee the work of business/test analysts and documentation specialists
- Complete annual mandatory WMATA security awareness training
- Review and assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation efforts
