Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and other AWS cloud services - Proven experience with Amazon Connect CCaaS, specifically in contact flow creation, call routing, and user management - Proficient in scripting and integrating various AWS services, such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3, to enhance contact center functionalities - Strong understanding of Voice over IP (VoIP) and Customer Experience (CX) strategies - In-depth knowledge of workforce optimization, including forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling best practices - Capable of configuring and utilizing Amazon Connects reporting and dashboard features for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management - Effective communication skills for requirement gathering and technical explanations - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT project managers, business analysts, and security staff - Preferred: AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer

Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and other District government stakeholders - Design, implement, and maintain the AWS Connect cloud-based contact center for optimal performance - Develop and document dynamic contact flows for effective call routing based on business needs - Create and launch chatbots and conversational AI features using Amazon Connect to automate customer interactions - Configure and sustain Amazon Connect instances, including user and routing profiles - Manage data collection for metrics essential for KPI management within AWS Connect - Develop and maintain custom dashboards and reports in Amazon QuickSight to oversee team performance - Evaluate and analyze usage data through Amazon CloudWatch and communicate insights to supervisors - Organize and supervise outbound voice campaigns and customer surveys in accordance with regulations - Implement integrations between AWS Connect and other systems using AWS Lambda and other AWS resources - Review and refine contact center designs based on operational feedback to enhance efficiency and reliability - Ensure compliance with security protocols by collaborating with security personnel to define processes for AWS Connect - Address technical issues relating to AWS Connect, providing updates and applying revisions to optimize performance
