Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or a Science-related field
- 5+ years of IT experience, preferably in the Life Sciences or bioPharma sector
- Proficient in Oracle DB and WebLogic, with additional experience in Spring Boot and AWS administration considered a plus
- Familiarity with JasperSoft, Power BI, or equivalent reporting tools
- Knowledge of cloud tooling is preferred
- Willingness to travel for workshops and support projects
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize database performance and configuration to assist application and donor-facing procedures, including object implementation and query tuning
- Collaborate on the lifecycle management of ESB, ensuring configurations align with use cases and environments
- Assess new technologies to facilitate integration across medical devices and applications
- Oversee and optimize application server environments (e.g., WebLogic) to guarantee performance and availability
- Engage in production incident response and on-call duties, coordinating with various teams to restore services and document solutions
- Support capacity planning and cloud modernization initiatives, aiding in migration and re-architecture of legacy workloads
- Implement environment changes adhering to application lifecycle management and operating procedures
- Create and sustain operational reporting using technologies such as JasperSoft or Power BI
