Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 12 years of leadership experience in AI/ML, automation, or advanced analytics within the life sciences sector.
- Proven track record in developing models and deploying digital agents in R&D settings.
- Strong expertise in ML Ops, data science platforms, automation frameworks, and AI governance.
- Knowledge of scripting, middleware, and low/no-code tools for automation purposes.
- Demonstrated user-centered design principles and change management experience.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance related to AI-enabled systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a cohesive AI/ML and automation strategy across R&D, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, automation tools, and digital agents to enhance R&D workflows.
- Establish governance and set standards for responsible AI, ML Ops, and automation toolsets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Digital Business Partners and lab leaders, as well as external organizations to identify, pilot, and expand impactful initiatives.
- Cultivate talent and develop tools and platforms through training sessions, hackathons, guilds, and workshops.
- Ensure the seamless integration of automation and agent-based solutions with existing data platforms and workflows.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as efficiency improvements, accuracy enhancements, and user adoption rates.
- Facilitate audit readiness and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for AI and automation.
