Associate Director, Data Science & AI Strategies

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field preferred - 10 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or (Gen)AI within pharma/biotech or healthcare, with a focus on commercial analytics - Proven track record in the development and implementation of machine learning models in commercial or clinical settings - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex datasets and making informed decisions - Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and emerging AI technologies - Experience in leading cross-functional AI/ML projects from concept to deployment - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake), data engineering processes, and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) - Experience with no-code data science tools is a plus - Excellent communication skills to translate business challenges into actionable analytical solutions and relay results to senior leadership - Ability to adapt strategies in a rapidly changing technological environment - Preferred: Experience in rare disease patient-finding models, evaluation frameworks for LLMs, and responsible AI practices - Preferred: Experience in leading the design, training, and evaluation of ML/LLM systems, and the ability to thrive in a matrix environment
