SCADA Integration Engineer

- Collaborate closely with project teams to evaluate design documents and deliverables, such as drawings and configuration files for SCADA systems - Provide guidance and support to field crews during project execution - Oversee the Network and SCADA engineering components for photovoltaic and battery energy storage designs - Engage in network design and programming, SCADA design, and field integration and troubleshooting - Assist with commissioning processes for substations, PV arrays, and battery energy storage systems - Offer technical understanding of engineering principles, business standards, and product requirements - Aid field personnel in addressing unexpected site concerns - Review vendor drawings for major equipment - Supply engineering support for bids, procurement, and construction activities - Review internal and external design documentation and submissions - Ensure that detailed designs meet customer specifications and comply with industry standards - Confirm that constructed designs align with electrical engineering plans, including preparatory meetings and quality assurance checks - Aid in developing technical requirements and standards for construction bid packages - Knowledgeable in software and protocols like IEEE 61850 and IEC 61131-3 - Experienced with LAN and WAN development, routers, and managed switches - Capable of integrating and debugging programs in substation or industrial settings - Independently perform tasks under the direction of the SCADA Engineering Manager - Coordinate with various engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure effective project delivery - Provide technical assistance to cross-functional teams related to assigned projects - Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to review progress and scheduling - Work closely with construction managers and project leads to update schedules and progress
