Requirements
Must:
- BS or BA degree in a business-related field such as Marketing, Finance, Management, or Economics is required. A technical or engineering degree may also be considered.
- An advanced degree in a business-related field such as an MBA, Marketing, or Finance is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to effectively engage with both internal and external customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook), with VBA and/or Python skills being a significant advantage.
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities with the capacity to apply these skills to real-world business scenarios.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive demeanor and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Remarkable attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively with team members to complete assigned projects.
- Experience or education in the energy sector is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- All applicants must provide documentation demonstrating their legal eligibility to work in the United States without requiring future employment visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Enroll assets in ISO/Utility markets, manage the settlement or shadow-settlement of events, and monitor compliance at both asset and portfolio levels.
- Oversee the calculation and submission of customer payments.
- Lead or support initiatives aimed at improving systems and processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams on all audit inquiries received from the ISO/Utility.
- Accurately report the financial implications of market operations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Create tailored reports for customers and assist in updating executive-level market summaries as required.

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our Enrollments, Settlements, and Payments team, recognized as a subject matter expert in supported markets. This role demands proactive problem-solving with minimal guidance and effective high-level communication across all functional groups, including executive management. We strive for continuous enhancement of our existing processes, especially as we introduce new support systems. Our preferred work arrangement is hybrid, requiring in-office presence three days a week at our Baltimore, MD location, with a secondary option for remote work.
