Requirements

Must:
- 1–2 years of experience in helpdesk, IT support, or service desk settings - Strong understanding of desktop and laptop hardware, Windows operating systems, and basic networking concepts - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users - Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and knowledge bases - A proactive, customer-oriented approach with robust problem-solving capabilities - Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platforms (preferred) - Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions (preferred) - Previous customer service experience in a dynamic or technical environment (preferred) - CompTIA certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred) - Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and tools (preferred)

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for end-users requiring technical support, available via phone, email, or in person - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other equipment - Manage and track support tickets in the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation, and resolution per SLAs - Assist with the setup and configuration of workstations, user accounts, emails, and software tools for new employees - Provide assistance for common business applications like Microsoft 365, web browsers, antivirus programs, and collaboration tools - Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or specialists when necessary - Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures, asset inventory, and common troubleshooting methods - Aid the IT team with routine maintenance, updates, and system health monitoring tasks
