Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- A minimum of eight years of experience in Network Engineering within a large enterprise setting
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and relevant industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or CCNA
- Alternatively, an Associate Degree with ten years of experience in Network Engineering
- High school diploma or equivalent with twelve years of relevant experience
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training as defined above
- Valid drivers license and capability to lift and carry fifty pounds
Responsibilities
- Oversee the engineering of the countys enterprise-wide network
- Plan, design, install, maintain, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructures
- Provide integrated team support and maintenance for LAN hardware and software
- Serve as a liaison between the PC/LAN team, vendors, and User Support staff
- Perform duties under the guidance of the Chief Information Officer and/or the Director of Operations and Network Administration
