Senior Network Engineer - Cisco & Juniper

- Design and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance the resilience of our network infrastructure. - Create scalable networking solutions tailored for both physical and virtual settings. - Develop, assess, and revise network design plans to ensure alignment with our organizational standards and best practices. - Deploy and configure network devices such as firewalls, switches, and access points for production LAN and WAN environments. - Oversee network operations and uphold high availability, performance, and stability. - Monitor performance dashboards proactively, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions in a timely manner. - Manage incident, problem, change, capacity, and performance processes pertinent to network operations. - Execute firmware and configuration updates, while ensuring consistent monitoring and documentation. - Sustain network health and stability for Data Center and WAN infrastructure while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. - Supervise and guide the network team on a day-to-day basis, handling scheduling, payroll, and workload allocations. - Mentor team members and identify opportunities for their professional development and training. - Foster collaboration, accountability, and adherence to high technical standards throughout the team. - Stay informed about cybersecurity threats, compliance obligations, and industry best practices. - Protect critical data and communications through the consistent enforcement of security measures. - Design resilient network architecture that includes disaster recovery and failover systems. - Maintain precise network documentation for compliance and audit purposes. - Provide Tier 2 expert support, addressing escalations from the Network Operations Center (NOC). - Analyze complex network events in distributed and cloud-native systems to identify root causes. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and interoperability of systems. - Support technological initiatives and infrastructure projects across the organization.
