Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in network engineering, server administration, and cloud management, ideally within an MSP environment
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies
- Experience with:
- Servers: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, VMware, Hyper-V
- Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
- Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN technologies
- Monitoring Tools: Network, server, and cloud management systems
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+) are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
- Oversee server and cloud environments, including upgrades, migrations, and regular maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve network, server, and cloud-related issues in a timely manner
- Monitor the performance of client systems to guarantee optimal uptime and security
- Conduct assessments of IT infrastructure and propose enhancements
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver thorough technical support
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and systems
- Foster enduring client relationships through proactive communication and support
