Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- At least 2 years of programming experience in Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and test-driven development practices (TDD/BDD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Preferred: Knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Preferred: Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Preferred: Exposure to security testing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute software tests to ensure quality and functionality.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and document defects for resolution.
- Conduct API testing to verify interactions between applications.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and debugging issues related to test automation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing.
