Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of hands-on IT experience
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable
- Proficiency supporting both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools and proactive system supervision
- Solid understanding of networking principles, with a preference for experience in Unifi and WatchGuard technologies
- Background in Microsoft 365 administration
- Exposure to VoIP systems is beneficial
- Experience with Kaseya and Barracuda products is advantageous
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365, or similar are preferred
- Valid drivers license is mandatory
- Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and active auto insurance
- Capacity to travel to local client sites; mileage reimbursement will be provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, such as servers, UPS units, and workstations
Responsibilities
- Independently handle and resolve technical support requests across various client environments
- Provide timely solutions while ensuring strong client communication and high satisfaction levels
- Act as an escalation resource for more complex technical issues
- Utilize RMM tools to monitor systems, apply patches, and proactively identify and address issues
- Maintain healthy, secure, and dependable client environments through proactive support initiatives
- Assist in projects involving server migrations, network deployments, hardware refreshes, workstation rollouts, and system upgrades
- Support implementation efforts aimed at enhancing reliability, performance, and long-term supportability
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Support environments utilizing Unifi and WatchGuard technologies
- Manage backup solutions to ensure data protection, recovery readiness, and business continuity
- Support hardware recommendations, quoting, and procurement to align technology solutions with client preferences
- Travel to local client sites across the Cleveland and Akron area for hands-on troubleshooting, installations, and support
