Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in IT support (experience in a Managed IT Services Provider is preferred) - Excellent troubleshooting abilities for Windows, servers, networking, and Microsoft 365 - Proven track record of working directly with end users or clients - Capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively within a team - Must possess a valid drivers license and a dependable means of transportation - Familiarity with PSA and RMM tools is an advantage - Experience with configuring and deploying firewalls (Unifi, Sonicwall, etc.) is beneficial - Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (EDR, SOC, SIEM, email security, SASE, etc.) is a plus - Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex IT concepts - A proactive attitude towards solving problems comprehensively - Comfortable in client-facing roles and willing to work onsite - Desire to progress into a senior or advisory position

Responsibilities

- Act as the main IT engineer for designated clients - Conduct onsite visits in New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Seguin - Cultivate robust relationships with business users and leadership teams - Address escalated issues related to Windows, MacOS, networks, servers, and cloud services - Provide support for Microsoft 365, user management, and endpoint challenges - Diagnose and resolve networking complications (Wi-Fi, firewalls, connectivity) - Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up their systems - Deploy and configure workstations, networks, and security measures - Ensure seamless transitions for incoming clients
