Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with deploying IaaS and PaaS solutions within Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Go, with additional knowledge of TypeScript or Rust being advantageous.
- Advanced mastery of Terraform and configuration management tools like Chef for maintaining stable infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of both Linux and Windows internals, including performance optimization and kernel-level troubleshooting.
- Awareness of integrating security and compliance measures into high-speed CI/CD pipelines without compromising speed.
- Systematic approach to problem-solving and a proven ability to guide others in adopting the SRE mentality.
Responsibilities
- Design systems for ultra-high reliability and fault tolerance in mission-critical clearing operations under stringent regulatory standards.
- Drive significant automation efforts to reduce operational friction and implement self-healing solutions for real-time incident prevention.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed SRE principles into the software development lifecycle for resilient high-volume financial applications.
- Advocate for advanced observability and performance testing practices using tools like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus to address complex bottlenecks proactively.
- Oversee the deployment of complex environments and release cycles, establishing exemplary design patterns and governance across projects.
