Requirements

Must:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in application support with a strong background in IAM services and solutions. - Proven hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale enterprise IAM solutions such as: - Cloud SSO and CIAM Platforms - LDAP Directories & Active Directory - Privileged Access Management systems - MFA solutions - Familiarity with hardware security keys - Experience with cloud computing strategies, specifically including Google Cloud IAM features (e.g., Service Accounts, IAM Roles). - Knowledge of container technologies, particularly Kubernetes, as they relate to secrets management. - Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Access Management (Federation / MFA / SSO). - Proficiency in scripting and automation in languages such as Linux shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, Chef, and Terraform. - In-depth knowledge of information security principles and practices relevant to IAM systems. - Experience participating in support and technical discussions in high-pressure environments. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on troubleshooting complex issues. - Effective communication skills for articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Familiarity with ITIL principles relating to problem and incident management, as well as change and audit control processes. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. - Certification in a leading PAM enterprise platform is preferred. - Security certifications (such as CISSP or Google Cloud Security Engineer) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Provide expert hands-on troubleshooting and rapid recovery for critical IAM systems and components. - Offer timely assistance during major incidents and participate in post-incident analyses to prevent recurrence. - Engage in product upgrades based on project scope and requirements to ensure operational readiness. - Participate in on-call rotations and conduct disaster recovery tests. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing support calls and incidents. - Identify and automate manual tasks to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. - Research security best practices and implement them across all supported platforms. - Assist teams in the secure management and retrieval of sensitive information according to industry standards and CME guidelines. - Develop processes and robust documentation for internal team use. - Aid in information collection for audit purposes and oversee documentation procedures.

We are creating a high-impact team focused on enhancing our weekend trading capabilities, seeking an experienced IAM Staff Engineer to provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and system recovery for our IAM systems. The role begins with training during regular business hours, transitioning to a compressed schedule of four eleven-hour shifts per week to ensure weekend coverage. We require a minimum in-office presence of two days a week, so candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Chicago office.
