Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in a fast-paced enterprise Network Operations Center (NOC) role (minimum 2nd or 3rd line experience)
- Proficient in LAN & WAN technologies, including:
- OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, Layer 2 architectures
- Familiarity with firewalls and load balancing concepts such as:
- Security practices, including firewalling, ACLs, and internet architecture
- Load balancing techniques, including F5 load balancers and iRules
- Knowledge of VPN technologies, including IPSec and SSL
- Understanding of wireless technologies
- Acquainted with ISO and ITIL standards
- Experience supporting or working with cloud technologies
- Preferred certifications in Enterprise Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
- Desirable certifications in firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.) and wireless (Aruba, Meraki, etc.)
- Cloud certifications (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)
- Proficiency in toolset management (Solarwinds or similar)
- Wireshark Certified Associate (WCA) or experience with hardware packet capture systems
- Knowledge of multicast protocols (PIM-SM, MSDP, AnyCastRP)
Responsibilities
- Act as first responders, organizing and managing the incident response
- Monitor and manage platforms daily to ensure compliance with internal SLAs and operational KPIs
- Address complex technical support challenges
- Review and implement necessary changes in all controlled environments
- Support network faults to resolution in a multi-vendor, multi-appliance infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents and service requests
- Conduct daily technical operations activities, including network and firewall troubleshooting, scripting changes, and firmware updates
- Uphold a positive demeanor and maintain a high level of customer service
- Provide technical development and mentorship to junior engineers
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of operational systems and processes
- Keep accurate records of troubleshooting efforts using industry-standard ticketing systems
- Draft technical standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation

This position involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing changes according to industry best practices. We ensure the ongoing operation of services to end users and customers, maintaining service levels consistent with our policies and standards. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $42.93 to $71.58, an annual target bonus, and offers the chance to participate in our equity program.
