Requirements

Must:
- Proven problem-solver with strong Python programming skills - Experience in developing cloud solutions, preferably using AWS or Azure - Knowledge of API integration and hands-on experience with RESTful services - Proficient in Python for automation scripting, data parsing, and task orchestration - Strong familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (including Lambda, S3, and Textract) or Microsoft Azure (including Logic Apps and Functions) - Demonstrated capability to design and interact with APIs, including JSON handling and authentication flows - Understanding of version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps methodologies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical personnel - Desired: Experience with automation frameworks, workflow tools, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools - Desired: Background in legal technology or work experience in a law firm - Desired: Familiarity with case management platforms such as Filevine, Litify, and Clio - Desired: Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices for handling PII/PHI - Desired: Exposure to database technologies (SQL, DynamoDB, etc.) and data warehouses

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to enhance internal processes - Collaborate with operations, IT, and management teams to pinpoint automation opportunities - Construct scalable and maintainable tools to support our high-growth operations - Create and maintain Python-based automation scripts and tools - Architect and set up cloud-based workflows leveraging AWS, Azure, or other similar platforms - Develop and utilize RESTful APIs to facilitate system integration, including platforms like Filevine and document repositories - Work with legal operations and IT to identify and automate repetitive manual tasks - Ensure automation workflows are compliant, secure, and auditable according to standards like HIPAA and GDPR - Document and enhance internal automation tools for case data management, reporting, and document processing - Provide ongoing support and improvements for existing automation solutions, addressing any production issues that arise
