Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of collective experience in design, front-end development, and user experience for complex software applications
- At least 5 years in a leadership position within DesignOps, Design Systems, or Design Engineering
- Proven background in designing for finance, banking, or ERP software, with strong comprehension of data integrity, security, and compliance in user workflows
- Demonstrated ability in creating Applied AI solutions, such as contextual copilots, conversational interfaces, or predictive insights
- Practical experience in developing Generative UI systems that adapt to users context, roles, and data
- History of collaborating with Platform and Engineering teams to implement design systems at scale
- Technical expertise in front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.), design tokens, accessibility standards, and performance enhancement
- Solid understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and continuous deployment environments
- Familiarity with monitoring and feedback mechanisms for evaluating UX quality
- Experience in Design Thinking, Service Design, or LeanUX Design is a notable advantage, especially where design drives innovation and customer value
Responsibilities
- Direct the DesignOps and UI Systems organization focused on the design system, component libraries, accessibility, performance, and documentation
- Develop and refine a cohesive Design System and pattern library that maintains consistency and efficiency across various product lines and front-end frameworks
- Establish and oversee the complete design-to-development workflow, utilizing tools such as Figma, Storybook, and automated design token pipelines
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering and Product Line Engineering teams to ensure design systems are delivered as stable, versioned, and consumable components
- Advocate for and incorporate Applied AI and Generative UI design patterns, creating intelligent and adaptive user experiences throughout the product ecosystem
- Create scalable design review procedures, accessibility benchmarks (WCAG), and UI performance thresholds
- Work with AI and Product teams to design AI-supported workflows, copilots, and contextual recommendations that boost user productivity and trust
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of design technologists, component engineers, and UX system designers
- Coordinate with Product and Architecture teams to ensure user experience strategy aligns with platform modernization, modularity, and API-first approaches
- Set clear design governance and metrics for user adoption, consistency, and satisfaction for both internal and external users
- Manage relationships with stakeholders across engineering, marketing, and executive teams, balancing creativity, efficiency, and business objectives
- Foster a culture of craftsmanship, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement, integrating user insights and delivery data into system development
