Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Extensive technical knowledge in Telecom Network Engineering
- Strong experience in managing and maintaining data and voice networks
- Proficiency in operational maintenance and capacity planning
- Expertise in Voice (PBX/VoIP) and Data systems
- Skills in Call Routing Technologies and Wide Area Network Links
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong background in system integration and network performance tuning
- Capability to mentor junior staff and provide technical training
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the future development of Enterprise Telecom/Data networks
- Design network solutions aligned with the organizations information strategy
- Analyze network configurations to enhance performance and efficiency
- Develop recommendations to mitigate disruptions in critical systems
- Integrate various system components into the technical environment
- Install, configure, and verify the operation of system components
- Monitor system performance and respond to performance issues
- Oversee the proactive collection and reporting of network data and statistics
- Ensure systems are updated with the latest vendor patches and enhancements
- Provide training to staff and clients as needed
Description
We are looking for a Telecommunications Engineer II to join our dynamic team at CHRISTUS. This strategic role offers an opportunity to leverage your high-level technical skills in Telecom Network Engineering while also being involved in operational execution. You will play a pivotal role in managing enterprise voice and data networks, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness.
