Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred; experience may substitute for education.
- Ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- 3-5 years of experience in supporting end user devices (Desktops, Laptops, Mobile, and Virtualization of Applications and Desktops).
- Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to balance meetings and dedicated work time.
- Proficient technical writing skills for creating support documentation.
- At least one current certification in Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, or related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve issues related to personal computers.
- Coordinate with vendors and other teams for additional support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
- Utilize existing tools, standards, methodologies, and processes while understanding the relationships between various systems/business processes.
- Analyze data to maintain up-to-date schedules and accurate user/technical populations.
- Develop schedules and plans for endpoint transitions, ensuring services/devices are available at scheduled times.
- Adjust schedules flexibly to meet business needs as required.
- Create and maintain standard documentation to support all EUC-related processes.
- Anticipate process changes and adapt accordingly.
- Prepare, develop, and advise on end-user training where applicable.
- Participate in the on-call rotation (24x7 availability).
Description
We are looking for an Information Technology Engineer II - End User Computing (EUC) to join our team. This strategic role focuses on the infrastructure and delivery of end user services. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of EUC systems, including design, implementation, and support. Our work environment is dynamic, and you will handle various user-facing resources, including desktop and notebook computers, mobile devices, and virtual applications. We offer full-time employment with a work schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and provide comprehensive benefits to support our dedicated team.
