Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, with equivalent experience considered
- Familiarity with industry standards concerning access provisioning and security
- Understanding of the needs related to healthcare information systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory
- 0 - 2 years of practical experience in information systems access and provisioning administration in healthcare or a similar sector
- Awareness of governmental regulations, industry standards for information security, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and experience in areas such as Information Security, Identity Management, Application System Administration, Application System Development, or Information System Audits
- Certification as a Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) is advantageous
- EPIC Certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to requests and inquiries concerning system and application access for associates, non-associates, student interns, and other clients at CHRISTUS Health
- Support the integrity and confidentiality of user information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System
- Oversee access requests for relevant systems and applications including, but not limited to: Meditech, Pyxis, Tap-N-Go, Patient Safe, PACS, and Active Directory
- Ensure compliance with EMR security provisioning and its operational standards
- Act as a point of contact for access-related issues and assist in resolving them effectively
