Requirements

Must:
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, focusing on healthcare, business, or information systems - Ability to present complex data in a clear manner, e.g., charts, graphs - Flexibility to adapt to and implement changes - Strong problem-solving abilities - Effective multitasking skills - Team collaboration skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Excellent customer service orientation - Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to foster quality teamwork and education - Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities - 3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare, business, or information systems - Ability to solve moderate incidents independently - Experience in developing new functionalities with minimal direction - Willingness to work collaboratively and support junior team members - Comprehensive healthcare knowledge and systems expertise - Capacity to make decisions on routine cases with minimal supervision and independent judgment - Ability to collaborate with senior team members to form solutions - Experience mentoring or training team members in the functional area - Relevant certifications in focus area preferred, with Epic analysts needing to be certified in assigned Epic module within 6 months - Ongoing maintenance of certification proficiency and training

Responsibilities

- Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and enhance assigned applications and business processes to meet operational and technical needs - Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure project success - Innovate practical solutions to challenges - Oversee project management for assigned tasks - Utilize subject matter expertise to enhance project support, while continuously seeking to improve understanding of assigned applications and systems - Use application training materials and resources to guide newer team members - Identify opportunities to improve customer usability, efficiency, and experience - Represent user needs during complex system updates and enhancements - Provide organized status updates for key project aspects to inform stakeholders - Conduct thorough process and requirement analysis, including mapping current workflows and gathering requirements for cross-team solutions - Perform gap analyses and provide actionable recommendations - Clearly communicate complex design and configuration issues to end-users and project stakeholders - Maintain relationships with end user leadership post-engagement, addressing any conflicts proactively - Engage in strategy discussions, identifying options with pros and cons - Make timely decisions, even with incomplete information, prioritizing quick resolutions when applicable - Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change management - Develop strong connections with end user communities, customers, and business partners - Collaborate with Operational Leaders to standardize best practices and ensure effective operational processes - Manage code changes with relevant vendors concerning application issues - Work with Technical Teams to diagnose infrastructure-related application issues - Share best practices from vendors with Operational Leaders - Increase technical knowledge of assigned applications, including the impact of infrastructure on users - Follow strict change management processes for system modifications - Ensure written documentation is consistent and thoroughly reviewed for end users and leadership - Proactively communicate project issues and concepts to leadership - Regularly self-assess and adjust work habits, skills, and behaviors for effective collaboration - Troubleshoot and resolve moderate incidents independently - Uphold high quality standards in work delivered by self and team - Provide oversight and feedback on team deliverables - Manage medium complexity projects/requests and collaborate with team members as necessary - Evaluate new application releases and functionality proactively - Complete assigned educational courses and attend presentations as required - Ensure provided services align with departmental objectives - Escalate issues when service level agreements are breached or vendor actions are insufficient - May require travel and additional hours during critical periods - Assist in conducting training sessions for users and coworkers - Identify and capitalize on new opportunities, maintaining a positive attitude through challenges - Perform additional duties as assigned
