Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of extensive, hands-on experience with OIPA, including:
- Configuration language, rules, calculations, AS files
- Integration processes, data intake, and data extraction patterns
- Database architecture and OIPA extensions
- Security implementations for palette and applications
- Release management and deployment workflows
- 2-5 years of practical development knowledge (preferable) in:
- Java, Spring MVC/Core/Boot
- SOAP/REST services
- Web container configurations
- Front-end technologies like JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery, Angular, or Node.js (preferred)
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with debugging Oracle stored procedures
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and tools such as JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor
- Proficient in Git, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, JIRA, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Sonar
- Familiar with Docker and cloud services (AWS or Azure) is a bonus
- AWS certification is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Proven leadership qualities, teamwork, and a commitment to ongoing learning
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems
Responsibilities
- Direct OIPA requirements gathering, functional design, and configuration activities
- Utilize OIPA configuration language, rules, and calculations for implementation
- Develop and improve OIPA screens (policy, role segment, allocation, valuation)
- Set up palette components, security models, and application-level permissions
- Create OIPA extensions, data intake methods, and data extraction procedures
- Identify and resolve issues related to OIPA configuration, integration, and data
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, data models, and implementation standards
- Construct and update applications using Java, Spring MVC/Core/Boot, and REST/SOAP services
- Connect OIPA with other systems via APIs, services, and batch processes
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using open-source frameworks
- Establish and uphold development standards using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, and relevant tools
- Maintain production and non-production environments to guarantee stability and performance
- Lead technical design discussions, proofs of concept, and architectural assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and configurators, fostering engineering excellence
- Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams for quality end-to-end delivery
- Participate in planning, estimation, and best practices for delivery
