Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium automation frameworks
- Experience in testing Documentum-based systems from a quality assurance perspective
- Strong programming capabilities in Java (preferred) or other modern languages like Python
- Experience enhancing existing automation frameworks instead of building them from scratch
- Proficiency with automation and testing tools like Selenium, Selenide, Rest-Assured, JUnit/TestNG, or Karate
- Experience executing regression testing cycles and resolving automation issues
- Knowledge of API testing, UI automation, backend validation, and database testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Ability to analyze root causes, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with development teams
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively across engineering, product, and DevOps teams
- A commitment to shift-left testing and continuous improvement of software quality practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure applications are reliable and scalable
- Support and expand automated testing capabilities throughout the software development lifecycle
- Maintain and enhance an existing enterprise Selenium-based automation framework
- Improve test coverage to facilitate fast and reliable software releases
- Execute regression cycles and address any automation issues under time-sensitive conditions
- Troubleshoot defects and enhance test processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Embed quality practices within the development lifecycle
