Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Playwright for comprehensive end-to-end and UI automation testing.
- Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Services, particularly Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Log Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Familiar with SonarQube for assessing code quality and conducting static analysis.
- Scripting expertise in BASH and PowerShell to facilitate automation and test orchestration.
- Experience with KQL queries for monitoring and diagnostic purposes in Log Analytics.
- Hands-on familiarity with Grafana, including dashboard creation and configuration of data sources.
- Ability to establish and resolve issues in local development environments for test execution.
- Proficient with Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and version control practices.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) alongside Agile methodologies.
- Basic skills in networking concepts, such as HTTP/S, DNS, TCP/IP, proxies, and firewalls.
- Capability to compose and interpret SQL queries for backend data assessment.
- Acquainted with JSON and XML formats relevant to API and configuration file management.
- Comfortable executing Linux/Unix command line operations and scripting.
- Experience utilizing bug tracking and reporting tools like Azure DevOps Boards and Jira.
- Knowledgeable in test data management and mocking techniques.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks, such as OAuth and API keys.
- Awareness of data privacy and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with dependency management using package managers like npm, pip, apt, and choco.
- Basic exposure to Docker or container environments.
- Proficient with IDEs such as VS Code or IntelliJ for development and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Automate the validation processes for data ingestion from various sources including databases, APIs, and web scraping resources to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Test middleware by verifying API endpoint availability, response validity, and SFTP site accessibility.
- Automate user interface testing for web applications and other client-facing platforms.
- Integrate test results into Azure DevOps pipelines and Log Analytics tables as part of the CI/CD workflows.
- Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards and alerts to represent test results and system health visually.
- Support local execution of Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) for development and troubleshooting purposes.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, data engineers, and DevOps to embed testing within the development lifecycle.
