Requirements
Must:
- I require over 7 years of hands-on programming experience in application development utilizing Java frameworks, with a proven grasp of Object-Oriented techniques and Design Patterns, as well as familiarity with multiple external Java frameworks.
- I am looking for experience in Requirements Analysis, Cloud Back-end & Front-End Design, Development, Implementation, Release & Deployment, and Cloud implementation.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices specific to the banking industry and experience with security & vulnerability detection tools (such as Blackduck, Checkmarx, Aquasec) are essential.
- Database experience is required, specifically with DB2.
- Proficiency in developing applications within a Microservices Architecture with technology stacks including REST, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and Docker is necessary.
- I expect experience working with DevOps, cache management, deployment, and orchestration technologies (such as Bitbucket, Git, Kubernetes/GKE, Jenkins, Maven, JFrog Artifactory, ArgoCD, Redis).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
- I seek a creative, self-motivated, results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to resolve business challenges.
- Solid hands-on development and support experience is needed to lead solutions to complex technical issues across technology teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities are necessary to develop and support systems that meet user requirements.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related fields is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to engage in hands-on design and development of APIs and Microservices on Cloud solutions (such as Google GCP).
- I need you to ensure that high quality, security, and compliance requirements are consistently met for the supported area.
- You will be required to meticulously document and take ownership of assigned projects.
- I look forward to seeing you analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign intricate software components and applications.
- You will lead technical decision-making for the Agile teams, collaborating closely with solutions architects and other technical leads.
- It will be your responsibility to develop coding standards and testing methodologies.
- Collaborating with the delivery lead to plan milestones, execute software delivery successfully, and escalate issues as needed is key.
- You will utilize industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions.
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are vital.
- Monitoring system performance and addressing errors through troubleshooting will be part of your role.
- Finally, you will provide production support for the applications we maintain.
