Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong communication and interpersonal abilities, alongside a solid understanding of ITIL best practices. A fundamental coding capability is necessary as our support teams thrive when they grasp the technologies behind our products. You should be able to write SQL queries and successfully complete a basic coding test in your preferred programming language.
Additional qualifications that will be advantageous include:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- A notable history of continuous improvement and automation projects
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required due to regular interactions with colleagues and partners based in the United States. Fluency in French would also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this central and dynamic role, you will provide technical and functional support for applications utilized by our trading and risk analysis teams located in New York. Your daily tasks will involve:
- Being part of an IT feature team that collaborates closely with the trading desk.
- Working alongside the development team to provide optimal service to traders and assist in preventing or resolving significant production incidents.
- Performing system health checks each morning to ensure production stability before financial markets open.
- Managing the user ticket backlog through Unity and being responsive to users in the event of live production incidents, where you'll utilize your problem-solving skills to diagnose and address application issues.
- Gaining financial industry knowledge and key production support practices from experienced professionals.
- Conducting evening checks to secure production stability before Asian markets commence.
- Engaging in automation projects to enhance your technical expertise, employing tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, scripting languages, bots, Autosys, and more.
