Requirements
Must:
- Extensive development experience with Drupal 10+, including custom modules, configuration, and adherence to best practices
- Solid understanding of Drupal 7, particularly in relation to custom modules, hooks, and themes
- Ability to transform Drupal 7-specific functionalities into their Drupal 10+ counterparts
- Proficient in PHP (object-oriented programming), MySQL, and essential web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Composer, Drush, and Git version control
- Competence in working within a Linux operating system environment
- Experience with migration or modernization projects from Drupal 7 to 10 is preferred
- Knowledge of Drupal Migrate API is a plus
- Exposure to Twig theming is advantageous
- Prior experience in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Linux environment would be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize legacy functionality from Drupal 7 into Drupal 10+
- Translate outdated design patterns from Drupal 7 into contemporary practices for Drupal 10+
- Develop and implement custom modules and configurations in Drupal 10+
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality web solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with both Drupal 7 and Drupal 10+
- Maintain documentation for code changes and system processes
- Adhere to best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization
