Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline such as Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience in data analytics.
- Relevant experience in an analytical and client-facing role.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL, including window functions.
- Hands-on experience with analysis, reporting, and data visualization tools, preferably Looker (or alternatively Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and Google Sheets.
- Experience providing insights to senior leadership, particularly to C-suite executives or their direct reports.
- Familiarity with constructing data models using dbt.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and understandably.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Capable of independently managing projects and communicating effectively within a complex organizational structure.
- Competence in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive support by delivering data-driven insights and strategic assistance to our partners across the organization, especially for the C-suite.
- Enhance decision-making processes by exhibiting analytical expertise and offering thought leadership through quantitative analyses, enabling informed decisions at Success Academy.
- Measure the effectiveness of initiatives by setting goals, forecasting outcomes, and monitoring key performance metrics to identify trends.
- Identify, analyze, and test opportunities for operational improvements and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and sustain Looker dashboards utilized by senior leadership and operational teams throughout the school network.
- Construct and maintain SQL-based data transformations in dbt for both new and existing applications, collaborating with data engineers as necessary.
