Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Network certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and CompTIA Network+ are desirable
- Over 8 years of relevant professional experience is preferred
- Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, particularly with Cisco equipment and Windows servers
- Familiarity with software-defined networks (SD-WAN) is a plus
- Understanding of Microsofts Azure cloud/M365 environment is preferred
- Willingness to provide on-call support outside of regular business hours may be necessary
- Completion of safety training may be required
Responsibilities
- Design and troubleshoot network equipment to enhance performance, security, and reliability, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Lead teams and manage site-specific projects with minimal supervision
- Develop and troubleshoot enterprise-level operational technologies that integrate with manufacturing control systems for optimal performance
- Establish processes, policies, and procedures that bolster internal controls, cybersecurity, and data protection for sensitive information
- Design infrastructure that reduces risk and formulate new controls for effective risk management
- Define configurations for software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) and associated infrastructure
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud network access control rules and configurations, including Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments
- Initiate improvements for Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Collaborate closely with IT site leads across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. to ensure effective network and security solutions
- Comprehend and comply with established procedures supporting internal controls, including Change Control processes for environmental modifications, and report deficiencies to management
