Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Network certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or CompTIA Network+ are desired.
- Over 5 years of professional experience may be preferred for fulfilling essential job functions.
- Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, particularly with Cisco equipment and Windows servers.
- Familiarity with software-defined networks (SD-WAN) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsofts Azure cloud and M365 environment is preferred.
- Availability for on-call and after-hours support may be required.
- Safety training may be necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences clearly and effectively.
- Ability to apply technical and analytical thought processes to unique challenges.
Responsibilities
- Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure equipment, applications, and databases to optimize performance, security, and reliability.
- Offer support to users and user groups for any reported issues concerning software, hardware, and peripheral devices, leveraging Subject Matter Expertise as needed.
- Manage issues through established tracking processes, which includes documenting issues, initiating troubleshooting, and overseeing escalation and resolution of problems.
- Participate in site safety programs, emergency responses, and execution of turnarounds.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support for site users as needed.
