Requirements
Must:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proficient in SQL and Python, particularly in cloud-native data environments.
- Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, and contemporary ELT/streaming pipelines.
- Strong grasp of data modeling methods (dimensional, event-based, etc.).
- Established ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
- Experience in SaaS, product usage analytics, or operational data modeling (preferred).
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration and data observability tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of real-time data pipelines or machine learning feature engineering (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and optimize scalable data pipelines leveraging ELT and streaming architectures.
- Develop and improve enterprise data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of data across all platforms.
- Collaborate with analysts and business teams to clarify data requirements and definitions.
- Contribute to the design of metrics, lineage tracking, and ensure semantic consistency.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve data quality and integration challenges.
- Automate data ingestion and transformation processes to reduce manual efforts.
- Uphold stringent data security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Enhance data governance, cataloging, and observability practices.
- Create and disseminate best practices, documentation, and reusable components.
- Mentor junior engineers and colleagues from various functions.
- Lead initiatives that align with our core values: Human-centric enablement, Trusted data and governance by design, Adaptive operations, Intentional automation, Systems that scale together.
