Requirements
Must:
- Experience in the payments ecosystem, specifically with POS systems and gateways
- Knowledge of PCI compliance and secure payment architecture
- Proficiency in API integrations, particularly REST and webhooks
- Familiarity with tokenization and digital wallet technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- 6-10+ years of experience in software engineering, integrations, or payment platforms
- Strong coding skills in languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Background in distributed, high-availability systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations between POS systems, payment gateways, and enterprise systems such as EHR and revenue cycle
- Create API-driven payment workflows utilizing REST, webhooks, and event-driven architectures
- Develop secure and compliant payment solutions considering PCI, tokenization, and encryption standards
- Oversee technical decisions, set standards, and establish best practices within the team
- Diagnose and resolve transaction flow and settlement issues, along with system performance challenges
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams, including finance, patient access, and digital departments
