Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with switching, VLAN, routing, and firewall technologies
- At least 2 years’ experience with server hardware
- Over 2 years’ experience in data backup/recovery, antivirus, and VPN support
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong skills in documentation and communication
- Outgoing personality and positive attitude
- Strong ownership and dedication to task completion
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Capability to manage stress effectively
- Willingness to seek assistance when necessary, while being considerate of others
- Proficient time estimation for tasks
- Team-oriented approach; success measured by collective outcomes
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for assisting others and sharing knowledge
Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for technical support from Level 1 technicians
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting for Windows and Mac workstations, servers, and network connections
- Manage and oversee backups for client systems, ensuring data integrity and recovery options
- Create, update, and resolve tickets in ConnectWise PSA following established procedures
- Research and implement solutions for unique cases beyond standard procedures
- Manage advanced user permissions and security settings
- Document client environments and maintain an up-to-date internal knowledge base
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of assigned tickets
- Mentor and guide junior technicians
