Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems
- Solid understanding of PC/server architecture and networking concepts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong independent working skills and problem-solving mindset
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
- Ability to apply corporate policies in selecting methods for production processes
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and occasional travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for various products and production lines
- Conduct process audits and create work instructions to enhance lean manufacturing practices
- Troubleshoot component failures and analyze repair needs for production systems
- Support product design, development, and testing during integration phases
- Develop scripts to test, update, and configure hardware systems for production using our automation platform
- Research, design, and evaluate current scripts for compatibility with new user equipment
- Configure network, software, and hardware components to satisfy client and internal requirements
- Offer on-site and remote support to the Production Line and Manufacturing Engineering teams
- Design software products spanning from unit to system testing by developing test plans and automated testing frameworks
- Maintain software testing techniques for LINUX/UNIX and Windows environments for quality assurance
- Collaborate with engineers and customers to support the design, development, and testing of integration phases
- Create clear and effective work instructions for production teams while encouraging lean practices
- Assist in troubleshooting automation failures in collaboration with engineering and clients
- Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to ascertain requirements and create delivery schedules
- Troubleshoot hardware issues related to systems from Tier 1 suppliers such as Supermicro, Dell, Lenovo, and HPE
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for client support via phone and email
- Uphold the highest quality standards in everyday activities and product output
- Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to safety standards and encouraging others to do the same
- Ensure compliance with policies protecting the Companys Information Assets and client systems
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
