Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support (experience in an MSP setting is preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Windows 10/11 and basic Windows Server
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID
- Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and business applications
- Address service requests through our ticketing system (Autotask PSA), phone, and email
- Deliver onsite support at client locations when necessary
- Install, configure, and upkeep hardware and software systems
- Assist with user account management (Active Directory / Entra ID / Microsoft 365)
- Support with network troubleshooting (VPN, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Monitor and react to alerts from RMM and cybersecurity tools
- Document all activities, solutions, and processes in IT Glue and PSA system
- Engage in the onboarding and offboarding processes for client users and systems
- Adhere to security best practices in line with NIST, SOC 2, and CMMC standards
- Maintain a professional demeanor while engaging with clients and teammates
