Requirements
Must:
- An Engineering or Technical Degree is essential.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing several projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Competent in using a PC for email communication and internet searches.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word; must be a proactive self-starter.
- Possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience in troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning is necessary.
- Ability to interpret Electrical Schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Must successfully pass a DOT drug test.
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required.
- Understanding of oil and gas industry processes such as tank batteries, separation systems, SWDs, compressor stations, and pipeline stations is needed.
- Knowledge in industrial networking.
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell automation software.
- Familiarity with serial communication protocols (RS232 & RS485) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and coordinating project setups and management.
- Collaborating on drawings and working alongside drafters.
- Creating and implementing standardized design packages.
- Involvement in PLC programming and developing standard code.
- Conducting reviews of designs prior to programming.
- Initiating system startups in field locations.
