Front Desk - Patient Experience Specialist

- Represent the mission, vision, and values of CAN Community Health in all interactions - Provide professional and confidential assistance to patients - Accurately collect, process, and record patient payments, such as co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances - Verify and update patient insurance information and eligibility during check-in - Clearly explain billing policies, insurance coverage, and patient financial responsibilities - Ensure compliance with federal and state billing regulations and clinic policies specific to CANs mission - Work collaboratively with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Team to address discrepancies and ensure accurate payment posting - Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing follow-ups for any missing payments - Respond promptly to patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance, and payment - Assist with additional front desk duties, including answering phone calls and managing patient paperwork
