Requirements

Must:
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience in mobile development with strong iOS focus - At least 2 years in a leadership or technical supervisory capacity - Advanced proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, along with a solid understanding of Objective-C - Skilled in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and contemporary cross-platform development workflows - Comprehensive knowledge of modern mobile architectures such as MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture - Expertise in optimizing performance, concurrency, and multithreading for both native and cross-platform environments - Strong grasp of UI/UX principles, accessibility requirements, and custom component creation - Proficient in Git and version control methodologies including GitFlow - Experience with CI/CD tools like Bitrise, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins - Familiarity with testing frameworks such as XCTest and XCUITest - Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities - Background in cloud platforms like Firebase, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure - Understanding of App Store submission procedures - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and delivery teams - Proven end-to-end accountability with a history of fully completing projects - Ownership mindset, taking full responsibility for delivery - Experience collaborating with offshore teams and driving completion of work across distributed teams - Skills in scope control and management - Experience in building, leading, or scaling development teams - Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams or product lines

Responsibilities

- Define and steer the technical direction for iOS and React Native development within the product area - Design and construct robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile solutions for iOS and cross-platform - Set and uphold best practices regarding performance, scalability, security, and code quality - Lead technical decisions and assess new technologies pertinent to iOS and React Native - Develop technical design specifications and translate high-level concepts into functional software - Spearhead feature development and improvements for iOS applications, including React Native implementations - Subject matter expert in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, with a sound understanding of Objective-C - Demonstrate proficiency in React Native and modern cross-platform mobile development processes - Apply contemporary app architectures such as MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture - Utilize Swift Concurrency and contemporary iOS technologies - Enhance performance, concurrency, and multithreading capabilities across native and cross-platform setups - Create custom UI components with a strong focus on user experience and accessibility - Oversee and sustain CI/CD workflows utilizing Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms - Manage App Store submission and deployment procedures - Ensure robust testing methodologies are implemented across unit, UI, and automated test suites - Identify and address performance bottlenecks through profiling and memory optimization - Maintain elevated standards for code quality, dependability, and ease of maintenance - Mentor and coach iOS and React Native developers through code reviews and collaborative sessions - Encourage continuous enhancements in engineering practices and workflows - Collaborate intensively with product, design, and delivery teams to align requirements with technical solutions - Actively engage in Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment of engineering progress with project timelines - Monitor engineering integrity across all layers of technology within the product - Proactively identify and address risks, dependencies, and blockers - Foster collaboration across technology teams to address overlapping challenges - Guarantee smooth integration of the iOS teams efforts with APIs, backend services, and other client platforms - Stay updated on trends in iOS, React Native, and the broader mobile ecosystem - Investigate new frameworks and methodologies to enhance development practices - Promote the adoption of cutting-edge iOS and cross-platform technologies and practices
