Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in web front-end development
- 2+ years in a leadership or technical leadership position
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven experience with Angular (Angular 2+, RxJS, NgRx) and React (React, NextJS, Redux)
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and web accessibility (WCAG)
- Familiarity with front-end architecture patterns (micro-frontends, component-driven, design systems)
- Competence in GraphQL and REST API integration
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
- Background in testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Karma, Jasmine)
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, caching, bundle optimization)
- Proficiency in Git and version control practices (GitFlow, trunk-based)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with product, design, and delivery teams
- Proven track record of end-to-end accountability in delivery completion
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical vision for web front-end development in the designated product area
- Design scalable, high-performance, and accessible web applications and experiences
- Develop and enforce best practices for front-end performance, scalability, security, and code quality
- Make informed technical decisions and assess new web technologies, frameworks, and tools
- Produce technical design specifications and convert high-level architecture into functional software
- Implement modern front-end architectures, including micro-frontends, component-driven designs, and design systems
- Oversee build tooling, module bundlers, and developer experience infrastructure
- Identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks in rendering, networking, and runtime processes
- Mentor and guide web engineers through code reviews, collaborative coding, and technical coaching
- Work closely with product, design, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure smooth integration of web front-end with APIs, backend services, content platforms, and mobile experiences
- Stay updated on web platform advancements, JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, Angular, React, and front-end trends
- Evaluate emerging frameworks, tools, and standards in web development
- Promote the adoption of modern web technologies and development methodologies
