Responsibilities
- I will translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, converting them into intuitive and functional user interfaces.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Execute all visual design stages, from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualize original ideas that simplify complex design challenges and enhance user-friendliness.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design concepts.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and gather user feedback.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Apply appropriate headings for document structures to facilitate screen reader navigation.
- Add alternative text for all images, charts, and non-text elements.
- Ensure tables are correctly tagged for screen readers, including appropriate descriptions and tab order for form fields.
- Use accessible fonts and colors to maintain high contrast between text and background.
- Add metadata, as well as set document titles and authors in document properties.
