Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security engineering and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) administration or engineering.
- Practical knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, LDAP tools, Microsoft Azure Security (including Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, conditional access, and Privileged Identity Management), and Google Cloud IAM/security tools.
- Experience working with Microsoft Sentinel, covering setup, log ingestion, and use-case development.
- A strong foundation in IAM platforms, solutions, or technologies such as Azure Entra ID, Active Directory, or Google Admin Console.
- Understanding of onboarding connectors, custom log sources, and integrating security products into SIEM platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of incident response, threat detection, and security monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily audits and corrections of account provisioning between all tenants utilizing tools like LDAP, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph.
- Execute regular security assessments for cloud and IAM to ensure adherence to industry standards and organizational protocols.
- Enhance and sustain security configurations, policies, and controls in a hybrid Microsoft environment, which includes on-premises Active Directory, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Elevate IAM capabilities, such as user lifecycle management, role-based access control, privileged access management, and conditional access policies across cloud and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with security technicians to integrate cloud and third-party security products into Microsoft Sentinel.
- Create and refine analytic rules, playbooks, and dashboards in Microsoft Sentinel to bolster threat detection and response efforts.
- Assist in incident investigations by fine-tuning logging, monitoring, and reporting processes from cloud services and IAM systems.
- Provide advice to technicians on IAM best practices, security governance, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) operations.
