Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least 3+ years of experience in a systems engineering or infrastructure implementation role, particularly with enterprise IT or physical security systems
- Proficient in administering Windows Server and Linux OS, including service configuration, security hardening, and performance optimization
- Solid grasp of IP networking principles, including Layer 2/3 concepts, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and network security
- Experience with integrating third-party systems, including software APIs, SDKs, or custom interfaces
- Ability to create and interpret data flow diagrams, network schematics, and system interaction models
- Proven capacity to work autonomously and make technical decisions with minimal guidance
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the complete lifecycle of physical security solutions: encompassing architectural design, configuration, deployment, integration, performance optimization, and operational transition
- Assess technical requirements and convert business needs into secure, scalable, and manageable system architectures
- Set up and manage Windows and Linux-based server environments for video surveillance, door access control, and supporting backend systems
- Integrate external systems (e.g., CCTV networks, RFID locking mechanisms, access management software) using industry-standard protocols and APIs (like ONVIF, REST, SNMP)
- Design and establish secure IP network configurations, including VLAN segmentation, routing rules, and NAT/firewall settings for video and access control systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, such as network diagrams, data flow charts, and deployment manuals
- Collaborate with internal IT, security, and facilities teams to ensure adherence to security protocols, data protection regulations, and system uptime service level agreements (SLAs)
- Provide Tier 3 support for infrastructure-related safety system issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing long-term solutions
- Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to local IT and operations teams to promote self-sufficiency and compliance with technical standards
