Responsibilities

- Fulfill project tasks and engage fully in the development life cycle, focusing on requirements analysis and design - Collaborate with technical and functional teams to clarify business requirements, comprehend business operations, and ensure alignment with agency policies and regulations - Draft technical specifications derived from conceptual designs and articulated business needs - Apply object-oriented methodologies and industry best practices for design, development, unit testing, and deployment - Create code alongside unit testing strategies and plans - Utilize Microsoft .NET Framework, an MVC framework, and C# programming language for application development - Partner with the Project Manager to manage project timelines and guarantee milestones are achieved - Prototype, enhance, test, and debug programs in conjunction with the Project Manager, technical staff, and end users - Work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with external partners as necessary - Factor in agency web application architecture and business decisions during the design process - Offer EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) support as needed, including requirements analysis and communication of results to the EDI and program teams - Ensure precise and adequate file exchanges with external trading partners and resolve conflicts in EDI data transmission - Provide helpdesk-level assistance for EDI claim transactions
