Requirements
Must:
- 0-1 year of general experience or coursework related to cybersecurity, IT security, or network monitoring
- Familiarity with security tools, alerting systems, or log analysis
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Knowledge of Windows Core Processes
- Familiarity with Authentication, Authorization, Accounting Processes and Methods
- Capability to follow structured processes, document findings, and escalate issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong multitasking ability, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Preferred: Cybersecurity certifications such as ISC(2) CC, ISC(2) SSCP, CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst +
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the clients team and initiatives
- Monitor for potential cyberthreats
- Engage in cyber-threat hunting activities
- Support cyber incident response efforts
- May be assigned to the cyber incident response team as required by circumstances
