Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or associate degree in a technical discipline with several years of applicable experience
- At least 5 years of expertise in security infrastructure and desktop engineering, particularly with Office 365 administration
- Competence in managing both Windows and Linux servers and workstations
- Significant experience in remediating Windows and Linux operating systems
- Extensive knowledge of Intune, Tenable, and Defender
- Proficient in Windows OS, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Quick comprehension of complex and varied systems
- Experience in local domain and mixed-level environments
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
Responsibilities
- Address current vulnerabilities and ensure asset compliance across diverse assets
- Strategize, design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage solutions, ensuring peak availability, compliance, and performance of essential systems
- Develop, configure, and sustain desktop environments while ensuring compliance; troubleshoot hardware and software challenges for optimal performance
- Deliver advanced technical assistance to internal teams and business units; resolve intricate technical challenges and provide guidance on best practices
- Generate and uphold comprehensive documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures; accurately record the details of stakeholder requests or issues and the diagnostic steps conducted during troubleshooting
- Oversee work queues; create, update, and resolve ITSM incidents promptly to maintain a high level of service provision by the team
